MAMA YOU'RE THE QUEEN OF MY HEART {NJ FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER}

Here’s to you all the mom’s out there. You have really been put to the test this past year. You’ve been parents, teachers, chefs, housekeepers, chauffeurs, all of the things. You’ve done ALL of the things this year. You’ve dried the tears, carried the babes, bandaged the boo boo’s, came up with creative ways to entertain and occupy.  Many of you have done this all while working from home…with the kids at home and the spouse at home and the needy dog at home. How we get anything done is a mystery.

I know I can’t do anything without hearing, “Mooooom” at least 10 times in the process. This morning I tried to squeeze in a ride on my stationery bike… because doing all this mom stuff causes me to stress eat and drink too much wine. During my ride, my 4 year old yelled “Mom” at least 20 times. Somehow he has managed to make the word “Mom” into a 3 syllable word that sounds like both a question and an accusation at the same time. It’s a special skill that I’m hoping will someday translate into something useful in adulthood.

So let’s hope that this year, all the moms out there get a little bit of a break. Maybe a brunch or a Pedicure, because God knows we have earned it… and go ahead and have that second glass of wine without worrying about burning it off.  Happy Mothers’ Day and thank you for allowing me to photograph your beautiful families.
