Lifestyle Newborn Photography Session {Westfield Nj Newborn Photographer}

I met baby A and her family in Late fall of this year. She was just the sweetest baby and had a super sweet older brother who was really excited to have a baby sister. One of the things I love most about this style of photography is getting to know you and your family. I am naturally shy but being invited into your home to photograph your family is a quick way to get comfortable. It’s such a relaxed session, there’s no pressure, we chat a bit. I get to know the family as i’m taking photos. I always walk away with a smile and maybe a cute anecdote or two.

One thing that I will never forget from this session was that we asked A’s Big brother if he wanted to read a story to her. He immediately got hung up on this book he kept calling “The Money book” No one knew what book he was referring to and his mom and dad must have spent 10 minutes going through the books trying to solve this mystery of the Money book that he wanted to read. It turns out that he wanted to read “The Giving Tree” which coincidentally is one of my favorite books but always makes me cry. I now will never be able to look at that book again without calling it “The money book”

Here are some of my favorite photos from our session.
