Newborn and Maternity details and Investment
This time of pregnancy and the newborn phase is incredibly magical and fleeting. You deserve to have photos that showcase that magic and love.
If you have read by bio, you will see that I only made it to 29 weeks with my first son. I’m incredibly blessed that he’s ok but the experience has shaped me. I’m so drawn to maternity and newborn photography because of this.
My goal for both your maternity and newborn session is to capture the magic of this time. I don’t use props or crazy posing, you and your baby are incredible just as you are.
Maternity sessions take place usually between 29-34 weeks when you are showing but not too close to your due date. These can happen either in home, or at an outdoor location around sunset.
All of my newborn sessions take place in your home, not in a studio. It’s there where you are most comfortable and where your memories of this time will reside. my approach is very relaxed and natural. I won’t dress your baby as a turtle or put her in any unnatural poses. The focus is on the love and connection between your family and your new baby.

We recently chose Desirea as our newborn photographer. We knew things would be hectic with a young baby so we wanted to do something at home that took some of the stress/pressure out of a photo shoot. Desirea was kind, professional, helpful and patient throughout the photo shoot. She not only helped make the experience stress free, but fun as well. Our toddler did not want to cooperate at times but Desirea was patient with her and helped to engage her in the process and captured some beautiful solo photos of her while doing so. We love how “real” the photos turned out. Our album included a mix of family photos, parent(s) and toddler/baby, sibling photos, newborn only photos, and detail photos of our baby’s tiny features. We could not be more thankful to have captured these sweet moments that pass in the blink of an eye. Thank you Desirea!

We had such a wonderful experience doing a newborn shoot with Desirea - she was incredibly professional, took COVID precautions very seriously (very important to us during this time!), and her natural style and easygoing attitude were exactly what we were looking for. Lifestyle Newborn session ~ $850
Includes a custom newborn portrait session in the comfort of your home.
Newborn sessions are lifestyle in nature so I will not use a beanbag or props but will focus on your Newborn and your family's connection.. These sessions usually run about 1-2 hours long, we will take breaks for feeding (I can also take photos during feeding if you are comfortable).
You will receive a minimum of 50 hand edited high resolution digital images for download presented in a private online gallery.
*Nj State sales tax will be added to your order

Maternity and Newborn bundle ~ $1450
Includes everything in the newborn package plus a 1 hour lifestyle maternity session with you and your immediate family either in your home or at a local park. You will receive an online gallery of a minimum of 45 hand edited images for download.
The maternity session on its own is $700 so you would receive a $100 discount for booking both together.

Deluxe Maternity and Newborn Package ~ $1850
Includes everything in the Maternity and Newborn Bundle plus a 10 X 10 Hardcover 20 page album bound in linen or leather. This would be hand designed by me and would include 40 of your favorite images from our newborn session. This album if purchased on it’s own is $450
