Couples maternity session in early spring {nj maternity photographer}

This beautiful couple welcomed their first son about 6 months ago. Prior to that I met them at the Cross estate gardens last spring. This location is one of my favorite spots for maternity and family sessions. There are such gorgeous gardens but also beautiful structures and a gorgeous Villa and a really cool water tower.

The day I photographed this couple was a pretty chilly day in April but they didn’t seem to mind at all. They were so loving and just so excited that they were about to welcome their first baby. I absolutely love the energy and feeling of a first born maternity session. I love all maternity sessions but there is something so magical about the first. There is always so much love and quiet anticipation for what is to come.
